If cited within the body of the manuscript, the citation should read:
American Meteorological Society (2013)
The acronym AMS could be used if already defined within the paper; the year is the current year cited when the paper was accepted for publication.
In the reference section:
American Meteorological Society, cited 2013: “term.” Glossary of Meteorology. [Available online at http://glossary.ametsoc.or/wiki/”term”]
Where “term” is the actual term referenced.
