Malvinas Current
A jetlike northward looping excursion of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current east of southern Argentina; also known as the Falkland Current.
Somewhere between 33° and 38°S it meets the Brazil Current and turns eastward, forming an intense temperature and salinity front.
