orbital elements[edit | edit source]

A collection of quantities that, together, describe the size, shape, and orientation of an orbit.

The classical orbital elements include the semimajor axis, eccentricity, inclination, argument of perigee, right ascension of ascending node, mean anomaly, and epoch time.
