Hot-film anemometer

hot-film anemometer[edit | edit source]

Similar to a hot-wire anemometer, with the exception that the sensing element is a thin film of conductive material on the surface of a nonconductive rod.


The general name for instruments designed to measure either total wind speed or the speed of one or more linear components of the wind vector.
