birainy climate

(Rare.) A climate characterized by the regular recurrence of two distinct rainy seasons annually.

This is found in land regions near the equator where the heaviest rains occur shortly after the equinoxes (the equinoctial rains). It may be considered a subdivision of the tropical rain forest climate.
