fog chamber
Experimental apparatus for investigating the interaction between liquids and solid surfaces.
The method involves the introduction of fine solid particles into a humidified reactor, followed by rapid cooling, to condense a layer of liquid onto the particles. Samples of the droplets can then be analyzed after a given time to quantify the extent of reaction that has occurred.
