n'aschi
(Also spelled nashi.) The Arabic name for a northeasterly wind that occurs in winter on the Iranian coast of the Persian Gulf, especially near the entrance to the gulf and also on the Makran coast.
It is probably of the bora type, though less strong, representing the outflow of cold air from central Asia. The n'aschi is part of the Asiatic monsoon system.
